Yes, you can apply with the Travel Grants Form, if you otherwise couldn’t make it to the event. We want to reserve those to folks that require them, and want to prioritize under-represented people and scientists.

We are accepting a limited number of sponsors to help us to pay for travel grants for people that otherwise couldn’t make it to DeSci.Belrin. Please get in touch by email or the speaker, workshop and partners TypeForm to let us know if you can help.

Here’s the speaker / workshop application form. As our event is focused on the educational aspect, we would like to have more workshops, than talks. The form is for applying to both: hosting a workshop and giving a talk.

We recommend doing a covid test in advance. Since March 8th, Berlin has lifted many of the restrictions that have been in place through the pandemic. So that means our gathering will proceed "as normal", without social distancing, masks, tests etc. Please do take care when you're in public transportation: wear a mask (mandatory) and keep your hands disinfected to reduce the chance of you picking up the virus while you're traveling.

We’d be thrilled for some folks to join us for these two days and help to show our attendees around, keep track of the program and just be available for any operational questions that might come your way.
